FEE STRUCTURE FOR SELF FUNDING
Invoices are payable online within 14 days of receipt. Payment cannot be taken over the phone.
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
Patients who do not attend their appointment without prior notice (via email or telephone) will be charged the full consultation fee.
PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE
Patients with private medical insurance MUST check their policy with their provider in advance. An authorisation code is required.
Some treatments may require part-payment.
Please note: Dr Shah does NOT see Bupa or AXA patients for acne, eczema, psoriasis, or vitiligo.
Important information
- Dr Shah does not see patients under the age of 12
- Tel/email consultations are not available for new acne patients
- Dr Shah operates an entirely paperless service. All appointments, reminders, clinical letters, and prescriptions are provided electronically. No correspondence is sent or accepted by post.
- Repeat private prescription requests are charged at £50 (from January 2026).
To request a prescription, please email: office@drdevshah.com. If appropriate, Dr Shah will issue a prescription via an online pharmacy provider. Patients will still be responsible for medication and delivery costs.
